Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actress is best known for her portrayals of Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She has also appeared as the characters in the telefilm Nightingales as well as the NBC series of the same name (which was only for a couple of episodes) as well as Erica Paget in CBS's Drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio on the TV show Psych. As a California native she was attracted to acting as a young girl. She started her career in acting through a variety of commercials. In 1984, she made her debut in a screen show of the sitcom on NBC called It's Your Turn. A year later when she appeared on the romance comedy Pretty in Pink of 1986 the actress made her screen debut. Swan is most well-known for the blonde hairlisp and breathless voice she uses. In recent years she has moved on to playing secondary characters. In 1989she was awarded an award called the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Horror or Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
