Ashley Darby
Ashley Darby is an American television personality and singer. She became famous after being crowned Miss District of Columbia in 2011 and has been a main cast member of The Real Housewives of Potomac from the beginning of the series in January 2016. Ashley Darby has a strong desire for hospitality, philanthropy and health holistically. Being a Maryland local with a fiery personality Ashley is awash with determination and a unrivaled motivation to make it happen. Ashley was the eldest of her family, and went on to be a multi-tasker as when she was a young person. She was able to support her mother as she is unmarried, and the younger children. As she got older, she was enrolled in an undergraduate program at University of Maryland and bartended for a living to help maintain the family financially stable. Ashley working as a bartender in the midst, was noticed by the Miss District of Columbia Pageant. The contest was won in 2011! In the following year, Ashley got to know Michael Darby an Australian real estate entrepreneur who's nearly 29 years more senior than her. The sparks erupted and Ashley was introduced to a world she'd never known existed. Ashley and Michael married in 2019. They were proud parents of Dean Michael and Dylan Matthew. They spent 8 years together, but officially split in 2022. Ashley is a certified yoga instructor who believes the importance of balance to the inner calm and physical well-being. Although she's having the time of her life, Ashley is working out how she can balance family life, work and motherhood. In terms of her professional career, Ashley is a television personality by profession. When she first started out, she was a bartender as her family needed money. Her love of the fashion industry and entertainment had been there from the time she was a child. When she was a contestant, she did so and showed her enthusiasm and determination. In addition, she won Miss District of Columbia 2011 and also was crowned Miss District of Columbia. She then participated in Miss America, but she was not crowned Miss America. But, she got a scholarship. They awarded her a scholarship amounting to $5000 and also got the John Curran Non-Finalist Interview Award.
