Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for several years. Her name is well-known due to the roles she played on television and films. When Emily was 12, she began to become fascinated by acting after she visited her older sister Katie at the location of one of her film. She began taking classes in acting and auditions after realizing that she was passionate about acting. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials for a few minutes before getting a part on the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? The show only featured her in only one scene and without dialog. At the age of fifteen, Emily made her first big break when she became regular on the WB TV series Glory Days. Emily's talent was noticed by Greg Berlanti after the series was cancelled after nine short episodes. He subsequently cast Emily as a character on Everwood, his new TV show. Emily was also a dancer and photographer. Teen once named her one of the most talented actors who were under twenty. In Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed Emily as the #51.
